I’ve read this book before, a few years ago, but I chose to read it again today because it’s still one of my ultimate favorites. I’m so in love with Bruno and Dita as characters—the layers, the depth, and the way their personalities unfold throughout the story. They feel like actual people, with emotions and reactions that are so easy to understand and relate to. What I especially love is how realistically the dialogue and lines are written. Nothing feels forced, overly dramatic, or unnecessarily mushy. The characters say things the way real people actually would, and their emotions are expressed in such an emotionally resonant and relatable way. Even after rereading it years later, this book still holds up so well. The characters, the writing, the emotions—everything still hits. Definitely still one of the best. ❤️
